Ode to HIV

We're studying HIV in med-surg. Of course a poem had to occur.

If you don't want

To get HIV

Always wear a condom

Don't share IV's.

Although the virus

Is very weak

Once it's inside you

Receptor sites it will seek.

It will take your immune system

Wreak havoc on your cells

Make you sick as a dog

And think you're in hell.

So rather than suffer

And die a slow death

Wrap up your thing

And quit pushing that meth.
