Prompt: Have you ever tried to break a habit and failed? What made it so difficult to break?
I have tried to break numerous habits and failed (who came up with this prompt?)! I think a lot of habits come so naturally to most people that trying to convince your body and brain to stop doing them is a lot to contend with. One of my worst habits is cursing but I don't necessarily think about what foul words I'm going to use so much as what I'm going to say overall. I think it's the same with most habits (good or bad); they just come naturally and you don't consciously think about doing them.
