Corn & Black bean salad

A friend of my parents passed this recipe on to them, and since I've been making it a lot this spring I wanted to share the recipe. Everyone who tries it seems to really like it, so hopefully someone out there will enjoy it also.
  • 2 cans black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 large bag of frozen corn kernels (thawed)
  • 1 large can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 finely chopped sweet onion
  • Several large squirts of lime juice (to taste)
  • Finely chopped fresh cilantro or basil (to taste)
  • ~1/3 c. olive oil
  • 3 boneless chicken breasts cooked and chopped
Mix it all together in a large bowl and let sit in the refrigerator for a few hours to "marinate". Enjoy.
